The Wonderful Communications virtual tasting experience with Hotel Chocolat in aid of Barts Charity Christmas Gift Appeal 2020 was an extraordinary event and a big success on so many levels.
An enormous thank you to everyone who joined us for our virtual chocolate tasting experience, we certainly had a lot of fun all for a very worthy cause.
The chocolate selection from Hotel Chocolat we tasted was unbelievable and the variety throughout the Classic Christmas H-box was simply sublime.
The guests were guided through the virtual tasting by our wonderful chocolate expert, Arran who effortlessly explained the differences between the dark, milk and white chocolate varieties along the way, all with a festive twist.
At the end of the tasting adventure, the raffle prize draw took centre stage and everyone was highly engaged to see who would win the fantastic prizes on offer, such as, Hotel Chocolat’s A Merry Little Christmas Hamper, A Bottomless Brunch for two at BOKAN, Electric Shuffle Experience for 6 people, Neals Yard Remedies Hamper and The Jamie Oliver Cookery School classes to name but a few.
The silent auction prize was A luxury stay in a suite for 7 nights at Corinthia St George’s Bay, Malta and the excitement for this prize hit fever pitch at the end of the evening too.
A superb virtual fundraising event was enjoyed by all and by the end of the evening we had raised an impressive £2,043!
