AN INTIMATE ART EXHIBITION WITH ARTIST KOBY MARTIN IN AID OF BREAST CANCER CARE
About This Project
An intimate evening with artist Koby Martin was our next pink event in aid of Breast Cancer Care during October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. It was a very important evening all for a superb cause as Breast Cancer remains the most common cancer in the UK.
Koby is a Ghanaian British based Illustrator, Animator and Painter. As the in-house designer for Disturbing London, Koby has worked on projects for the likes of Wizkid, Tinie Tempah, G-Frsh, Yungen, A2 and more.
Throughout his career he has been responsible for various creative content on a global level, including the debut album cover for Krept & Konan, Nico & Vinz and Jessie J.
The chosen venue for the evening was The Old Street Gallery which is situated a short walk from Old Street station. A beautiful blank canvas that works on so many levels was the perfect environment to showcase Koby’s latest collection titled ASIAMAH.
The gallery is bright, spacious and fitted with an excellent audio and visual system which was ideal for our presentations and speeches throughout the evening. A small bar area worked well for serving drinks and food on the night which our guests duly enjoyed.
A variety of like minded professionals attended the evening and industries and sectors such as music, leisure, art, entertainment, fashion, design, finance, media, TV and hospitality were all well represented on the night. Not only was there fantastic art pieces on show but guests got the opportunity to meet, greet and network with one another too.
Guests were treated to divine complimentary cocktails and mixers from Jägermeister UK and tasty bites were served from the catering team of Flamour London which all went down rather well.
The excitement for our raffle prize draw grew with every minute and guests were looking forward to see if they had one one of the four fabulous items on offer.
Raffle prizes on the night were as follows;

- CHAMPAGNE AFTERNOON TEA FOR TWO PEOPLE AT CROWNE PLAZA LONDON KENSINGTON
All the lucky winners were delighted with their prizes and all guests received sweets, treats and goody bags from Hotel Chocolat at the end of the evening too.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening was had by all and an outstanding collaboration of art and charitable giving came together to highlight the very importance, vital work and support that is undertaken by Breast Cancer Care.
