Valletta is a delightful destination that easily combines history and a contemporary lifestyle.
It’s no surprise that Malta’s capital city was awarded the European Capital of Culture in 2018.
Our corporate group was impressed with the Mediterranean Conference Centre, which offers three spectacular venues.
A stroll through the streets of Valletta presented the opportunity to see the baroque architecture and limestone buildings up close and personal.
This was also evident in the dazzling interior of St John’s Co-Cathedral Foundation and the breathtaking artwork by the painter Caravaggio.
Lunch at MUŻA – Malta National Community Art Museum was a treat that was welcomed by all.
Our group enjoyed the views from the Upper Barrakka Gardens, which are one of the world’s great maritime sanctuaries and the heart of Maltese history.
A scenic boat trip followed to Birgu to further explore the surroundings.
An exquisite dining experience hosted by Corinthia Caterers took place at the elegant Villa Bologna, which is a charming, majestic, and welcoming 18th-century Maltese country house.
This stunning outpost has multiple event spaces that work well for private dinners, drinks receptions, conferences, or celebratory occasions.
In short, Valletta is small in size, but it is blessed with an array of superb venues that cater to a wide range of corporate functions.
