I was recently invited to the preview of the private dining rooms at Lucky Cat, the new Gordon Ramsay Asian Eating House that replaces Maze, located on Grosvenor Square, Mayfair.

Three spacious private dining rooms were on offer to view and the stylish interiors were created by design studio AfroditiKrassa.

Canapes consisted of laos-style sesame summer rolls, boneless chicken wing, miso hot sauce, salmon and avocado temaki and my personal favourite on the menu was the smoked lamb bao, mint, shiso.

Desserts were impressive too with passion fruit caramel and sorbet and yuzu doughnuts.

A good selection of beers, wines and cocktails were available but I opted for the refreshing Darjeeling Iced Tea which was delightful.

Lucky Cat opens on the 24th June 2019.
