Jamie’s fundraising for Barts Charity to support the incredible work, dedicated staff and wonderful patients of the hospitals of Barts Health NHS Trust: St Bartholomew’s, The Royal London, Mile End, Whipps Cross and Newham.

The Importance of Leukaemia Research
Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ALL) is the most common cancer in children and is usually curable, however, the outcome for adults is poor.

The Barts Cancer Institute is one of 13 centres partnered with Cancer Research UK. The centres collaborate to get the most out of their work by sharing expertise and advanced technologies, as well as scarce resources such as tissue from patients with less common forms of cancer.

The battle against cancer is ongoing. Even though Barts are making progress every day, they need to ensure that the researchers of the future have the time, resources and expert guidance to make the next breakthroughs.
