Made In Chelsea’s Akin Solanke-Caulker and Raef Bjayou from the show The Apprentice were just some of the celebrities that attended the annual Wonderful Christmas toy party with a variety of corporate organisations big and small to help raise awareness and collect brand new boxed toys in aid of the Brompton Fountain, a charity that helps support children and their families from severe life threatening heart and lung conditions under the care at the Royal Brompton & Harefield NHS Foundation Trust.
The stunning surroundings of The Westbury Hotel located in Mayfair hosted the annual Christmas charity toy party and all guests in attendance had a wonderful time.
An assortment of delicious tantalising snacks were served followed by a tasty fish and chips dish with a variety of savoury sauces and dips on offer. Chocolates, sweets and festive scrumptious mince pies were on the menu for dessert and proved a real winner with everybody on the night. The constant flow of outstanding Hungaria Extra Dry sparking wine was a firm favourite during the evening which was kindly donated by Hungarian Tourism who were also in attendance.
Once again, the aim of the annual Christmas toy party event was to help raise awareness for The Brompton Fountain current Toy Appeal and to collect as many brand new boxed toys as possible to donate to the children’s Rose Ward at Royal Brompton Hospital in London and the toy party managed to do just that from the first class amount of toys that were received during the evening.
Ashley Shaw – General Manager at The Westbury said; “Everyone at The Westbury were so pleased to host the Wonderful Christmas toy party as it is for a brilliant cause and a chance to help some very brave children at Christmas too”. We were honoured to show our support for The Brompton Fountain which is a fantastic charity.
Trudy Nickels – Director at the Brompton Fountain says; “The Wonderful Christmas toy party is amazing and helps us to raise awareness of our annual Christmas Toy Appeal. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated a toy or a gift this year, it’s so appreciated.” “These toys will bring so many smiles to many faces on the ward during the festive season and we are so thankful for the continued support we receive.”
Akin Solanke-Caulker and Raef Bjayou really got into the festive spirit at the the toy party and happily mingled and chatted amongst guests whilst taking photos with them too.
