We were recently joined by a first class group of corporate EA’s, PA’s, Event Manager’s and Event professionals for a familiarisation trip hosted by the newly branded DoubleTree By Hilton London – Greenwich.
This modern, historic, boutique hotel is located in Royal Borough of Greenwich and it didn’t disappoint. Once a police ‘section house,’ this RIBA winning 1940’s landmark building has been restored with a contemporary flare while preserving its historic charm. This serene outpost is located less than 5 minutes walk from the nearest train stations and popular attractions. The major business district of Canary Wharf is just 20 minutes away via DLR services too.
Our familiarisation trip began with a drinks reception and a selection of mouthwatering canapes served in the chic event space on the lower ground of the hotel.
Soon after a guided tour commenced of the hotel which gave all our corporate guests the opportunity to view the bedrooms, bar, restaurant and meeting spaces and facilities on offer too.
After the tour all the corporate guests were treated to an excellent three course meal with drinks which was also well received by everyone during the evening.
Once dinner was completed all our corporate attendees retired to their individual bedrooms for a relaxing and welcomed overnight stay.
A full breakfast was served to all our corporate guests in the morning and they also had the opportunity to relax further within their bedrooms at their leisure before check-out time.
The feedback from all the corporate guests who attended the familiarisation trip was superb and they all look forward to returning to The DoubleTree By Hilton London – Greenwich in the not too distant future.
