About This Project

The St Simon and St Jude annual family bowling day out took place at the uber cool Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes in Central London.

This important event has become a key fixture on the Parish calendar for the younger members of the congregation and their siblings.

A real jubilant party and a chance for everyone connected to the Church to come together and enjoy the super competition on the bowling lanes, tasty food, juicy drinks, delicious desserts and wonderful family fun atmosphere.

Guests on the day had access to the exclusive KingPin Suite which was a very impressive private space that consisted of 5 bowling lanes, retro arcade games, table tennis, pool, karaoke, table football and a DJ booth which played a number of cool up-tempo music tracks throughout the day.

The tension on the bowling lanes was very exciting, fierce but friendly, as all the teams that took part were looking to be crowned the bowling champions of this year’s mini tournament.

A variety of pizza’s, chips and drinks were being served throughout the afternoon with lashings of ice cream for dessert too.

The bowling tournament saw Quinto and his team crowned overall victors as they managed to fend off the challenges of their opponents in the final with some outstanding bowling producing a number of strikes and half-strikes too.

The children and all their families helped to raise much needed funds and awareness on the day in aid of NSPCC too.

Overall, another fabulous day was enjoyed by all the children and their families that attended and we are already looking forward to doing it all over again next year.
