Wonderful Communications arranged a divine experience for a variety of corporate EAs and PAs to visit the iconic Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly Street.
This magnanimous shopping outpost has over 300 years of history and is a short walk from Piccadilly tube station.
Our EA and PA guests were treated to a Champagne reception on arrival at the Crypt, situated on the lower ground floor.
This stunning, intimate private dining room is steeped in so much history and is a real hidden gem.
It was the perfect setting for our group as a selection of divine savoury canapes, mini burgers, cheese and charcuteries, sweets, treats, and biscuits were served throughout the evening.
This was all accompanied by a streaming flow of wine and sparkling tea.
We were then taken on an excellent tour of the building which has a story at every corner.
There are a number of impressive private event spaces to choose from such as The Drawing Room, The Tasting Room, The Boardroom, The Diamond Jubilee, Tea Salon, The Wine Bar, and FIELD by Fortnum’s to name but a few.
The event spaces are ideal to host a private breakfast, lunch, dinner, soiree, drinks reception, party, or a landmark celebration.
Each space has its own unique style and can be dressed and decorated accordingly to your event or function.
After the grand tour which covered all 5 floors of the store, we returned to the Crypt for further refreshments.
Our EAs and PAs were very pleased to be informed about the excellent Concierge and corporate gifting service available at Fortnum & Mason too.
Often referred to as London’s best-kept secret, Fortnum’s Concierge is a complimentary service and is there to make life easier and stress-free when having to arrange the sending of hampers, gift boxes, wine, food, condiments, preserves, sweets, and treats to clients, friends or family.
All our EA and PA guests thoroughly enjoyed the overall experience and left with a delightful Fortnum & Mason goody bag as a souvenir of their visit.
In short, Fortnum & Mason continues to deliver world-class service to its customers, however, if you take the opportunity to truly explore this retail emporium and all its event spaces there’s so much more to discover.
